Abstract

This article examines innovative pedagogical approaches to developing communicative competence in students with special educational needs within inclusive education. Communicative competence is considered not only as the ability to use language correctly, but also as a complex personal and social capacity that includes interaction, emotional expression, cooperation, listening, dialogue, non-verbal communication, and participation in group learning activities. The article emphasizes that students with special educational needs require flexible, differentiated, and psychologically supportive methods that take into account their cognitive, speech, emotional, sensory, and social characteristics. Particular attention is paid to interactive learning, assistive technologies, visual support tools, role-playing methods, cooperative tasks, individualized communication strategies, and teacher-student collaboration. The study highlights the importance of creating an inclusive classroom environment where each learner is provided with equal opportunities to express ideas, understand others, and participate in educational communication. The article also analyzes the role of teachers’ professional competence in adapting pedagogical technologies to the individual needs of learners. It is argued that innovative approaches increase students’ confidence, reduce communication barriers, and support their social adaptation. The findings suggest that the systematic use of inclusive pedagogical strategies contributes to the development of speech activity, interpersonal interaction, and academic participation among students with special educational needs.
