Abstract
Digital media has become one of the most influential tools in modern English language education. The rapid development of technology has changed traditional teaching methods and created new opportunities for vocabulary acquisition among English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. This article explores the role of digital media in improving vocabulary learning, focusing on the effectiveness of videos, podcasts, mobile applications, online games, and social media platforms. The paper discusses how digital resources increase learner motivation, improve retention, and create interactive learning environments. In addition, the article examines challenges related to digital learning, including distractions, unequal access to technology, and overreliance on multimedia tools. The study concludes that digital media significantly contributes to vocabulary development when used appropriately and purposefully in ESL classrooms.
