Abstract
Listening is considered one of the most essential skills in foreign language acquisition. However, many English language learners experience difficulties in understanding authentic speech due to pronunciation, accent variation, speed of speech, and lack of exposure to natural communication. Modern technologies provide teachers with effective tools for improving listening comprehension, among which podcasts and video materials occupy a special place. This article examines the role of podcasts and videos in developing listening skills, their advantages in language teaching, and practical methods of integrating them into the educational process.
