Abstract
This article examines proverbs as core objects of linguoculturème within the framework of linguoculturology. the analyses of the proverbs reveals that how proverbs encode national-cultural identity, worldview, and value systems in English and Uzbek. The findings suggest that cross-linguistic comparison of proverbial funds yields significant insights into the cultural semantics of each language community.
