Abstract

This article examines the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran through three contemporary approaches in international relations: constructivism, feminism and neo-Marxism. The analysis demonstrates that these theoretical perspectives make it possible to interpret Iran not only as a geopolitical actor, but also as a state whose external behavior is shaped by identity, ideology, gender relations, economic dependency and competing global narratives.
