THE IMPACT OF GAME TECHNOLOGIES IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION ON LEARNING MOTIVATION

Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of game technologies on educational motivation in mathematics education. Increasing students' interest in mathematics is one of the pressing issues in modern education. The article examines gamification and game-based learning approaches, their influence on internal and external factors of student motivation. It also presents research results from leading countries worldwide, real experiments, and surprising statistical data. According to the research results, in classes where game technologies were used, students' interest in mathematics increased by an average of 47 percent, and academic performance increased by 54 percent. The conclusion provides practical recommendations for implementing game technologies in mathematics lessons.
