Abstract
This article analyzes the effectiveness of the measures implemented to protect maternal and child health in Uzbekistan. It also emphasizes the importance attached, throughout all stages of the country's development, to international and intersectoral integration and its practical application. Particular attention is given to the development of the institution of motherhood and to the mechanisms for integrating and adopting advanced national and international experience to enhance its effective functioning.
